2004

I arrived back in Belcji vrh in May 2004 prepared to spend an
easy summer working on the 'barn' after Luka had organised
some essential ground work on my behalf during the previous
six months - a concrete base, septic tanks, a water supply
and much clearing. I spent until early September converting
the roof space to a bedroom (now the 'library') and balcony,
creating basic kitchen and toilet facilities, tidying, planning,
and sorting out some basic legal stuff.

And, of course, making the decision to move there as soon as
possible as well as, quite co-incidentally, meeting and falling in
love with Tanja Cigoj.
